Progress poured in concrete
Zeph Zebrini is ZOZO CITY’s Builder, architect of progress and father of construction projects whose ribbons were sometimes cut before their foundations were laid. A visionary, he quickly understood that a city grows faster when plans remain flexible, budgets expandable and inspectors allergic to dust.
His method relied on a flawless structure: a request for bids, a single company capable of responding and several ideally placed cousins to guarantee competition. Every cost overrun became proof of ambition. Every crack became an opening to the future.
Zeph wanted to leave a lasting mark. He succeeded: some avenues still bear his name, some buildings still support their own weight and several invoices should outlive the structures. His portrait on the 100-Zen banknote celebrates progress. The warranty department remains under construction.
