The Treasury in very safe hands
Salomon M’Bali is ZOZO CITY’s Keeper of the Treasury, responsible for protecting the city’s wealth from waste, panic and citizens curious about where it went. Under his management, the vaults stayed full, the books balanced and all negative figures remained tucked inside an appendix that was never distributed.
Always planning ahead, Salomon left nothing to chance. Every crisis fed an emergency reserve, every reserve funded a security fund and every fund had a discreet door leading to a family foundation. He called it diversification. So did the accountants, but only when he was in the room.
His stability rested on a simple principle: when the finances were healthy, he deserved the credit; when they were not, the population had lived beyond its means. His portrait on the 50-Zen banknote reminds everyone that trust must be earned. Salomon simply preferred to print it.
